Suggested Degrees Of Correction

Orthotics are not a one-size-fits-all solution, and the degrees of correction should be tailored to the individual's needs.

Below explains the different arch profiles and how each degree may change the shape of the orthotic.

Accommodative

Using the contour of the scan, as rearfoot correction increases, the arch height also increases.

Forefoot

Varus or Valgus correction of the forefoot.

Rearfoot

Using the contour of the scan, as the rearfoot correction increases, the arch height does not increase.
